Bryan Shannon

Bryan T. Shannon is a litigator in the firm’s Denver office. He received his B.S. degree from the University of Oregon in 2006. In 2009, he received his J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law, where he contributed to the Journal on Telecommunications & High Technology Law, and counseled start-up companies through the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic. Mr. Shannon received his LL.M. in Taxation at the University of Denver in 2010.

Mr. Shannon joined the firm in May 2011. He specializes in representing corporate entities in complex state and local tax controversies, both in administrative proceedings and judicial litigation at the trial and appellate levels. His practice includes an emphasis on litigating sales and use tax disputes in the telecommunications and energy industries.

Prior to joining Silverstein & Pomerantz LLP, Mr. Shannon practiced in International Tax with Deloitte, Touche, & Tohmatsu. He also acquired substantial experience in commercial litigation while serving as a law clerk for several firms in Denver while pursuing his LL.M.

Mr. Shannon is a member of the bar of the State of Colorado.
